The RoleReporting to the Group Head of Marketing (based out of our European office), you will join our North American Marketing team in Georgia to help us further build our content marketing portfolio. Your work will include writing long form pieces (such as longer blog posts and ebooks) as well as short form (such as emails for marketing automation), interviewing subject matter experts and customers, creating marketing campaign materials, and ensuring our content guidelines are met for all external pieces (such as editing and proofing a PowerPoint for the Sales Team).
You’ll work closely with other team members, both in the US and Europe, to share ideas and coordinate the combined content calendar, and we’ll ask for your input on what that calendar should cover. Your supervisor will work with you remotely on long-term projects/engagements, you’ll work closely with the VP of Sales in Georgia as well as the remote Sales team across the U.S., and you’ll interface with agencies on campaign development and execution.
We have an established tone of voice and content guidelines, as well as personas to whom our content is directed, so we need someone who can fit in and maintain our style, becoming an expert on our voice for the rest of the company. As our resident expert, others will call on you for help in conforming to our content standards.
Note: this description is intended to give you a general overview of the position and is not an exhaustive listing of duties and responsibilities,
Pictured: Tellermate’s T-ix cash counting solution offers multiple count types to adapt to diverse customer processes, multiple connectivity options for communicating with printers and/or back office systems, and the ability to count non-cash items such as coupons and tokens. These are just some of the reasons Tellermate is the cash counting solution of choice for many industry leaders.
What's in It for YouDirect and visible impact
Directly influence and impact revenue growth in North America when you take ownership of your campaigns, ensuring every step is completed on time and as planned. We have buy-in from upper levels of management that content marketing and thought leadership are the future, so you’ll be in a great position to help us continue to build our base in this area, which will have a huge positive impact on our business down the line. Because the team is small, your contributions will be visible and your successes will be noticed and appreciated.
Own your success
This is an optimal role for a self-motivated marketing professional who enjoys taking ownership of his/her responsibilities. We have strong and needed products, a great reputation, and a solid foundation of success built over more than three decades. You will leverage those building blocks to drive your own success by increasing the impact of content marketing campaigns, thereby engaging new prospects who are ripe for conversion.
We encourage development outside of your skillset, allowing you to learn from other team members and dip your toe into other areas. For example, if you don’t already know how to use InDesign, you might learn a little bit about basic layouts to add to your skills; or if you haven’t used marketing automation software, this will certainly be an opportunity to learn.
Both our US and European teams work very closely together. Our people are always happy to learn from each other, provide support for growth, and work together in an environment where everyone is recognized for their talent.
We work to maintain a culture where people can learn and grow with the company. We have created a collaborative, creative environment where each person feels encouraged to contribute to our processes, decisions, planning and culture.
Our commitment to your success is enhanced by a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurances with a large portion (approximately 80%) covered for the employee, a 401(k) with company match, PTO, including holidays and vacation, and more.

Keys to SuccessBecause our marketing function is dispersed between the US and Europe, you’ll need to have a strong sense of drive and self-motivation to get your work done as an individual contributor. However, you’ll also need to be great at working with the team, keeping everyone in the loop so we’re all pulling in the same direction, and asking for support when you need it.
This is not a heads down, campaign “processing” role. Instead, we’ll seek your input and ask you to work with stakeholders across the company. Your interpersonal and communication skills will need to be strong, as will your ability to listen to and understand the challenges of the Sales team. While it will take time to deliver to metrics, you’ll know you are on the right track as you build strong relationships and build the marketing funnel.
You’ll also need to be flexible, taking on any tasks thrown your way. You will need to understand how to incorporate constructive feedback with a thick skin. And rather than being a perfectionist, your key goal will be meeting deadlines, so you’ll need to know when to let go of a job.
